Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Fledge, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Who can use Fledge

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be a parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver of the child(ren) whose profiles you create.
• You must provide accurate information.
• Fledge is currently designed for families in India, though anyone with internet access can sign up.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Don't share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One account per person. Premium accounts may have up to 5 children.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Use Fledge for any illegal purpose.
• Share content that is harmful, abusive, or inappropriate for a parenting platform.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the AI system.
• Impersonate another person or create fake child profiles.
• Overload the service with automated requests.
• Use the platform to harass consultants or other users.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

5. Free and Premium tiers

5.1 Free tier

• 1 child profile
• 1 AI-generated activity plan per month
• 3 AI advisor chats per week
• Weekly check-ins, milestone tracking, consultant browsing

5.2 Premium tier (₹299/month)

• Up to 5 child profiles
• Unlimited plan regeneration (rate limited to 10/hour)
• Unlimited AI chats (rate limited to 30/hour)
• Feedback insights, PDF exports, consultant booking, co-parent access

Premium subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings — access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

Fledge does not guarantee that AI-generated plans or advice will be suitable for every child. You are the best judge of what works for your family. Use AI suggestions as inspiration, not instructions.

7. Consultant services

• Fledge lists verified child development consultants as a directory service.
• Any booking is a direct arrangement between you and the consultant.
• Fledge is not responsible for the consultation content, outcomes, or advice given by consultants.
• Fledge may charge a service fee (commission) on bookings — clearly disclosed at checkout.

8. Your content

You retain all rights to the information and photos you upload. By using Fledge, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this content solely to provide the service to you. We never use your content to train AI models, sell, or share with third parties beyond what's described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

Fledge's brand, software, design, and AI prompts are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

10. Termination

• You can delete your account anytime from Settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• On termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of liability

Fledge is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Decisions you make based on AI suggestions or consultant advice.
• Medical, psychological, or developmental outcomes for your child.
• Service interruptions or data loss (though we work hard to prevent both).
• Third-party content or consultant services.

Our total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the amount you paid to Fledge in the past 12 months, or ₹1,000 (whichever is greater).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Gujarat, India.

13. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
