Fledge provides general parenting guidance and developmental activity suggestions based on established child development research (Montessori, Reggio Emilia, AAP and CDC milestone guidelines). However:
- Fledge is not a healthcare provider.
- AI-generated content is not a medical diagnosis or treatment plan.
- Suggestions are not a substitute for professional advice from pediatricians, child psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, or any licensed healthcare provider.
2. AI limitations
The AI advisor uses large language models which can sometimes:
- Generate incorrect or outdated information.
- Miss nuances specific to your child's situation.
- Present general guidance that may not apply to everyone.

3. When to seek professional help

- Fledge's consultant recommendation engine flags a concern.
4. Activity safety
All suggested activities should be performed with adult supervision. Adapt activities to your child's age, abilities, and comfort level. Stop any activity that causes distress, injury, or discomfort. Fledge is not responsible for injuries or adverse outcomes from activities.
5. Consultant directory disclaimer
Fledge lists child development consultants for your convenience. While we verify credentials to the best of our ability:
- Consultant information is self-reported and may change.
- Fledge does not guarantee specific outcomes from consultations.
- Your consultation is a direct relationship between you and the consultant.
- Report any concerns about consultants to support@fledge.co.in.
6. No emergency services
In an emergency, do not use Fledge. Call your local emergency number immediately. For medical emergencies in India, dial 112. For child helpline, dial 1098.
